ABOUT ME
End-to-end marketing leader & communications designer connecting insight into execution.
My Journey
My introduction to marketing and communications started as an extra responsibility that quickly became the part of my job I loved most.
The combination of creativity, psychology, and strategy hooked me right away. It felt challenging in the best way. At the time, I had no formal training, so with growing responsibility, I spent the next several years teaching myself everything from graphic design and photography to audience research and marketing strategy. Over time, marketing shifted from being part of my role to the center of it.
In my current role, I’m solely responsible for marketing and communications, bringing together creative execution, strategic planning, and leadership into a single, end-to-end function. Today, I’m often the person people turn to when they need help clarifying a message, planning a campaign, or seeing the bigger picture.
HOW I THINK & WORK
I start with the audience and the goal, always. Before any work begins, I want to understand:
who we’re talking to
what problem we’re solving for them, and
how the work fits into a larger strategy.
I believe strongly in spending the right amount of time on planning and preparation, so execution isn’t harder than it needs to be. I enjoy building systems that work, and I’m often happiest starting from scratch and shaping ideas into something clear, usable, and effective.
That said, I know how to focus on outcomes without losing sight of the details that actually matter.
When I know the work well: I’m comfortable diving in and moving quickly.
What frustrates me: marketing that skips clarity, messaging that centers the organization instead of the audience, visuals that distract instead of support, or copy that almost works but gets diluted along the way.
Good marketing should make it easy for people to understand why something matters.
It’s not the audience’s job to figure it out. It’s ours.
Planning campaigns or strategies and seeing them all the way through
Combining strategy, creative problem-solving, and execution
Translating complexity into clarity
Creating systems that work so we can focus on the bigger picture
What I love doing
WHERE I THRIVE
Environments where I’m trusted to own my work and where complex ideas need to be turned into clear, actionable plans.
Being a resource for others and working with people who are thoughtful, collaborative, and open to discussion.
Small-to-medium teams that move at a steady but sustainable pace, in environments that are organized without being rigid.
With leaders who trust their teams, communicate clearly, and foster a culture that’s professional without being cold.
Mutual respect matters to me, as does working somewhere free of micromanagement, performative “business” culture, or unnecessary friction.
