ABOUT ME

End-to-end marketing leader & communications designer connecting insight into execution.

I’m a marketer who likes to build things from the ground up, particularly strategy, messaging, campaigns, and the systems that hold it all together.

Most of my work is in education, where I’ve owned marketing end-to-end as a team of one. I’ve developed lifecycle campaigns, created content, managed workflows, and spent a lot of time figuring out what actually moves people from interest to action.

What I’m best at is taking complex information and turning it into clear, useful messaging that meets people where they are and helps them make informed decisions. Whether it’s a campaign, a presentation, or a full content strategy, I focus on making things understandable, structured, and effective.

I’m especially interested in work where the goal isn’t just to promote something, but to help people understand it well enough to take the next step.

HOW I THINK & WORK

I start with the audience and the goal, always. Before any work begins, I want to understand:

  • who we’re talking to

  • what problem we’re solving for them, and

  • how the work fits into a larger strategy.

I believe strongly in spending the right amount of time on planning and preparation, so execution isn’t harder than it needs to be. I enjoy building systems that work, and I’m often happiest starting from scratch and shaping ideas into something clear, usable, and effective.

That said, I know how to focus on outcomes without losing sight of the details that actually matter.

  • When I know the work well: I’m comfortable diving in and moving quickly.

  • What frustrates me: marketing that skips clarity, messaging that centers the organization instead of the audience, visuals that distract instead of support, or copy that almost works but gets diluted along the way.

Good marketing should make it easy for people to understand why something matters.

It’s not the audience’s job to figure it out. It’s ours.

I bring a strong sense of ownership and follow-through. I’m used to carrying work from planning into build, launch, and revision, and I’m comfortable making decisions when tradeoffs are required.

I’m especially valuable in environments where:

  • The product is complex

  • The audience needs guidance, not hype

  • Marketing needs to support real understanding and adoption

I like work where marketing is meant to help people make informed decisions, and where success shows up in engagement, conversion, or long-term use, not just visibility.

What I bring to a team

WHERE I THRIVE

  • Environments where I’m trusted to own my work and where complex ideas need to be turned into clear, actionable plans.

  • Being a resource for others and working with people who are thoughtful, collaborative, and open to discussion.

  • Small-to-medium teams that move at a steady but sustainable pace, in environments that are organized without being rigid.

  • With leaders who trust their teams, communicate clearly, and foster a culture that’s professional without being cold.

Mutual respect matters to me, as does working somewhere free of micromanagement, performative “business” culture, or unnecessary friction.

My working style

I value autonomy and flexibility, especially when it comes to structuring my day. This helps me do more thoughtful and effective work.

I’m highly efficient and take deadlines and dependencies seriously. If someone is waiting on me, I prioritize getting it done. I’ve also learned the importance of slowing down and protecting time for work that supports larger goals. I’m open to thoughtful feedback, and I appreciate clear communication and shared accountability.
